Once you’ve filled in your ballot, you must prepare your ballot for return. Re-fold your ballot, seal it in the secret ballot sleeve, then place the secret ballot sleeve in the return envelope and sign the return envelope. Voters must sign the return envelope for the ballot to be counted.
You can return your ballot by mail (no stamp needed) or in-person at a designated place of deposit. Click here for voter service centers and places of deposit: https://elections.hawaii.gov/voter-service-centers-and-places-of-deposit/
Ballots must be received by the Clerk’s office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, but should you decide to mail in your ballot, it is strongly recommended that you send it in by October 27.
